Last minutes packing, barulah rasa hormon2 sexcited kan kan kan?
I had fun, think we all do. To put everything in writing is kinda hard and it might be the longest entry i ever had in my entire life. Let just say, with a budget of RM300 each (4 of us) we surely know how to make the best out of it. Siap ada belen RM14 lagi sorang....Boleh bah kalau kau!
Allow me to share some of the interesting facts i learned while spending my time there:
1. Orang KK ada 9 nyawa.
Tak percaya? U just have to. Kalau korang nak tahu, orang-orang KK ni kalau melintas jalan (let it be jalan besar, ala2 highway or jalan kampung), dorang ni redah je bah. No fear katanya. Tak teragak2 or takut2 macam kita2 ni. Once diaorang buka langkah, tak pandang kiri kanan dah. Tabiklah!
2. Makanan siap tanpa bau atau bunyi.
Ahah! Ni kira dasat la juga. But first kena beritahu awal2, servis memang agak lembab ye kawan-kawan. Lama la nak menunggu order tu siap. Tapi kan, yang peliknya...dorang takde 'tung tang tung tang' bunyi kuali...Bau menumis pon takde. tau2 siap je...Sedap la plak. Ajaib!
3. 3Layer Tea ada dimana-mana.
I'm not downgrading the people but I kinda surprise that 3Layer made it there. They called it Special Tea instead of the normal 3Layer / Teh 3 Lapis we normally asked Mamak to prepare. Nyaman bah. The taste is just nice. Oh yea, orang kat sini tak berapa kuat manis. Almost everything i tasted were 'manis-manis buah' gitu.
4. Masam cuka
Despite of the muka manis bila melayan orang luar, they are fond to use cider / cuka dalam masakan. In fact, kalau kat atas meja tu, memang diletakkan kicap, cili (giler pedas), lada sulah n yes cuka. At first i thought air, rupanya tak. Kalau tak buh cuka, dorang akan gantikan dengan limau kasturi. Janji ada rasa masam. Interesting eh?
5. Rajin naik jenjantas
Ha...yang ni memang salute. Walaupun dorang ada 9 nyawa (as i mentioned earlier) when it comes to jejantas / laluan pejalan kaki, dorang memang betul2 gunapakai. These apply during day time lah. Kot kalau malam tu, idok ler teman pasti. Sebabnya, bila malam je...semua bersepah atas jalan.
6. Sensitif pada bulatan / roundabout
Sapa-sapa yang rasa nak berfikir last minute whether to take pukul 9, 12 ke 3 nyer turn...be prepared untuk di hon. Dorang ni memang cukup allergic kat roundabout. Pastikan korang dah pilih lane awal2. No turning back okie. If u think Shah Alam ada banyak roundabout, they cant beat KK lah. Instead of having traffic light here and there, they opt for roundabout. Let it be big, small or comel2 gitu.
7. Tak susah nak cari hotel
Budget hotel, 3 stars hotel, berstar2 nyer hotel are everywhere. Hyatt ada, Le Meridien pun ada. Tak susahlah kiranya. Family room pon leh dapat RM88 / night. Cheap kan? U just need to ringan mulut tanya. That's all. Dorang takde nak marah-marah pun.
8. Al-Pukat & Sayap
The fact that Sabah was famous for its seafood, jangan lupakan makanan2 lain. Al-Pukat or omputih kata avocado juice memang terbaiklah. Sana sini ada. Maka, cK lepas geram la merasa. Sayap pula panggilan tempatan untuk chicken wings. I am not a big fan, but syaap kat Sadong Jaya tu memang terbaik lah. Siap ada kuah pedas2, masam2 manis. Yea, yea...i gain few kg kot.Hiks!
9. Parking yang sangat murah.
Sejam hanya RM0.25! Omg Omg! ada dapat ke kat KL?
Tu je kot yang cK leh fikir buat masa ni. I should be longer, but i might bores you. Lenkali sambung eh?
