What?
Supermoon is a term used to describe how large or how close the moon is to Earth and this year on Saturday, March 19, 2011 the full moon are at the closest it has been to Earth since 1992.The moon appear to be fuller, bigger and brighter too. There is a conspiracy theory brewing in that the Supermoons are related to the massive earthquakes and tsunamis. This however has not been proven. The moon is however shown to cause increased tides on a full moon because of gravitational pull.
Sounds too technical? Well, put it this way. Supermoon / full moon is also known as 'bulan penuh' to many of us. I almost missed the moment, thanks to Mr. Rain who've been visiting since morning. But all that changed when the Moon finally showed up. Mesmerize with the beauty, i grab my Ixus and snapped a few shots. I am not a professional photographer and i don't own a SLR/DSLR, so save your critics if you have any.
